Responsibilities: • Work with project teams to coordinate data collection, data tracking, and reporting while keeping to project schedules, scopes, and budgets. • Track project deliverables, review laboratory sample receipt logs, and perform quality checks. • Collaborate with the database managers to ensure that the EQuIS database runs efficiently and securely. • Run, modify, or develop reports and queries to ensure data quality and accuracy. • Coordinate with Earthsoft on technical database inquiries. • Support data system design, field data collection, data processing, and data reporting. • Respond to client data requests. • Coordinate with the project manager and field staff on field data collection issues and act as a point-of-contact on analytical data matters for the project team and analytical laboratories throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain confidentiality at all times. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in data management or a similar science degree is required. • At least 3-5 years of experience as a database specialist is required. • Must possess an understanding of relational databases. • Experience with databases and/or environmental data management software, including Access, EQuIS, EQuIS Collect, EQuIS SPM, and/or EQuIS DQM, is required. • Solid understanding of relational databases, including the core EQuIS Schema. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously effectively and efficiently with precision and adapt to changes in responsibilities and workloads. • Must be able to coordinate and work well with our team members. • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references, and have background check results. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. **** Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with environmental databases is desirable. • Knowledge of Department of Defense databases, including ERPIMS and NIRIS, is desirable. **** Physical Requirements • Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about.
