Crysalis Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHS&Q) Manager.

In this role, our EHS&Q Manager will work to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards while maintaining alignment with regulatory policies, company goals, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in regulatory compliance, quality management, and reporting. This individual will help us ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities: ● Oversee 24-hour plant operations related to Quality Assurance, EHS, Employee Training, and Compliance. ● Develop and maintain a safety training program ● Champion a culture of “Safety First” and “Right the First Time.” ● Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership Team, contributing to goal-setting, planning, and performance review. ● Manage QA/QC, Safety, Environmental Control, Regulatory Reporting, and Permitting programs. ● Implement QA/QC practices consistent with the best industry standards for the ethanol industry. ● Supervise QA laboratory technicians and ensure that they receive appropriate training and resources. ● Maintain compliance with all city, county, state, and federal regulations. ● Prepare analytical reports and recommend operational improvements to help ensure quality products, a safe working environment, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience: ● Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. ● Proven experience in compliance, quality management, or a related field. ● Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting and safety standards. ● Excellent project management and leadership skills. ● Experience with quality audits and quality management systems is an asset. Physical Requirements: ● Must be able to perform confined space entry, climb ladders and steps, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. ● Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, and slippery surfaces. ● Exposure to high noise levels, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts. ● Must be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using task-specific appropriate personal protective equipment.
