JOB DETAILS
Pay Range for this position is $24.00-28.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the EHS Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to perform environmental, health & safety activities in an industrial setting to ensure compliance with occupational environmental, health & safety regulations by performing the following duties.
Qualifications
A successful EHS Technician will have:
High degree of integrity, professionalism, attitude, confidentiality and performance
Must model safe behavior at all times and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas and settings requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must have attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective training development and presentation experience
Innovative and willing to challenge “status quo"
Team building skills and experience
Effective problem-solving skills in a team environment; adaptability to changing roles, responsibilities, and priorities
A substantial amount of time spent on the production floor interacting with our associates
Demonstrated awareness of the need for accurate data and diligence in ensuring details are accurate and complete
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office software
Must be able to work independently
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and use a computer, printer, copier and other common business office equipment. Ability to speak effectively before various groups of associates of the organization
Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment
Company oriented mindset
Ability to travel as required
Majority of work will be performed in typical office, warehouse and Manufacturing plant environment
Position may occasionally require moderate physical work necessary for emergency response duties
PREFERRED
Secondary education (some college) is desirable
Competent person or subject matter expert experience and knowledge in Environmental, Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment
Ability to communicate(verbally and written) in Spanish
Additional Information
The US base pay range for this full-time position is $24.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.)
