    Environmental Remediation Engineering Associate

    Position Summary:
    Our client is seeking an Environmental Remediation Engineering Associate to join their team in Memphis, TN. This role involves supporting a wide range of environmental remediation projects, including site investigations, regulatory compliance, feasibility studies, remedial design, construction management, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems. Candidates will join a collaborative and innovative work environment that emphasizes professional development and creative problem-solving.

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform engineering assessments, calculations, and pilot testing for environmental remediation projects

    • Participate in technical teams across multiple offices, compiling/evaluating data, preparing presentations, and producing design plans and reports

    • Design vapor intrusion mitigation systems and soil/groundwater remediation systems (in situ and ex situ)

    • Oversee subcontractors and manage construction of remedial systems

    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot remediation systems

    • Support projects ranging from small-scale commercial sites to large federal facilities

    • Assist in marketing, project management, and interactions with clients and regulators

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

    • 3–7 years of relevant experience

    • Experience with soil, groundwater, and air remediation technologies

    • Strong data evaluation, report writing, and design calculation skills

    • Critical thinking, mechanical aptitude, and ability to use tools and electrical components

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Willingness to travel overnight

    Preferred Skills:

    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; P.E. license is a plus

    • Experience with O&M and equipment troubleshooting

    • Familiarity with PFAS and other emerging contaminants

    Location & Compensation:

    • Location: Memphis, TN

    • Signing Bonus: Up to $5,000 depending on experience

    • Relocation Assistance: Available

    • Compensation: $68-85,000
