    Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30p.

    Pay: $22/hr

    May work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in the areas of commercial, health care, schools, universities or other establishments.

    MUST HAVE:

    - Fire Resistant Jeans, Fire Resistant Long-Sleeved Shirts, and Steel Toe Boots.

    - Requires a TWIC Card, DISA Background Check, and DISA Drug Testing

    - Must be at least 18 years old, pass background screening and have reliable transportation.

    Overview The Environmental Services Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety standards, particularly in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to upholding cleanliness and hygiene protocols.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces within the facility.
    • Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
    • Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment following OSHA guidelines to ensure safety and effectiveness.
    • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
    • Follow established protocols for infection control to prevent the spread of pathogens.
    • Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to address urgent needs.
    • Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed during each shift.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in custodial or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare setting such as a hospital.
    • Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
    • Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to cleaning chemicals and workplace safety.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
