Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in our medical office. This role is essential to infection control and patient safety, requiring strict adherence to cleaning protocols and attention to high-touch areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect exam rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and common spaces

Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, counters, and medical equipment (per guidelines)

Empty trash and biohazard waste in accordance with safety regulations

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and sanitizer

Follow all OSHA, HIPAA (as applicable), and infection control procedures

Report maintenance or safety issues promptly

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred (medical setting a plus)

Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and disinfecting procedures

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks

Work Environment: Fast-paced medical office requiring a high level of cleanliness, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
