We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our senior living community and support our mission of providing outstanding service every day.

    Position Summary

    The Part-Time Environmental Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within our Assisted Living Community. This role directly supports the health, dignity, and well-being of our residents by ensuring their apartments and shared spaces feel like home. The Environmental Services Associate plays a key role in infection prevention, resident satisfaction, and overall quality of life.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchenettes, and living areas, according to established schedules
    • Clean and sanitize carpets in resident apartments and common areas as needed
    • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including dining rooms, activity spaces, hallways, restrooms, offices, and lounges
    • Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions at all times
    • Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, and trash removal
    • Complete apartment turnovers in preparation for new residents
    • Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, sanitizer, and cleaning materials
    • Properly handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines
    • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns promptly
    • Maintain cleaning equipment in safe and proper working condition
    • Interact courteously and respectfully with residents, families, and team members
    • Support special events or community activities with cleaning setup and breakdown as needed

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or senior living
    • Understanding of infection control practices preferred
    • Compassionate attitude and respect for older adults
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

    Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 40 pounds)

    Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery

    Work Schedule

    Part-time hours; may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Pay Range Minimum: $15.47 per hour; Maximum:$16.90 per hour. The base range represents the low and high ends of the pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off (PTO), and an Employee assistance program.
