North Wind Site Services is focused on providing engineering, program management, environmental remediation services including investigation and characterization, environmental restoration, unexploded ordnance/military munitions response (MMRP), regulatory public involvement services, environmental compliance, logistics, and records and facility management. ** _
POSITION PURPOSE:**
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to environmental program managers and environmental subject matter experts assigned to the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron, Installation Management Flight, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. **

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be sitting for long periods of time in an office environment. Sedentary physical workload; must be able to exert up to a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; required to have a close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading; specific physical requirements include, but are not limited to, sitting, walking, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. This position may require frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and must comply with all Company safety requirements in the office and on the jobsite. ** _

** WORKING ENVIRONMENT:**
The majority of the work is split between indoors in a standard office environment and outside at project sites. Inclement weather can include extremes from arctic cold in Alaska to hot & humid in Hawaii and Wake locations.
