Responsibilities: The Role: What You’ll Do • Support industrial cleaning and remediation projects through power washing, tank cleaning, and material movement. • Learn to operate forklifts, mini-excavators, and mini-skid-steers under expert supervision. • Assist in collecting soil and waste samples and support Emergency Response teams during spills or environmental incidents. • Set up, decontaminate, and maintain specialized field tools and PPE. Qualifications: What You Bring (Qualifications) • High School Diploma or GED. • Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10 Construction; NIMS ICS 100/700 and AEP Safety Certification. • * Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. • Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions and difficult terrains. • Ability to wear Class C protective equipment and a half-face respirator. • Proficiency with hand/power tools and a comfort level with mobile technology for reporting. Preferred Competencies • A proactive mindset for identifying hazards and a strong commitment to OSHA standards. • Ability to take direction well and communicate effectively with your crew. Compensation: $19 - $23 yearly
