Position Overview:

As a Project Engineer at Envision Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders will contribute to the overall project success.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design:

  • Manage the planning and design stages of construction projects
  • Contribute technical expertise to project drawings and designs

• Cost Management:

  • Perform cost calculations and prepare financial projections
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop accurate project budgets

• Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Prepare work schedules in collaboration with the project manager
  • Liaise between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

• Contract Administration:

  • Execute procurements and oversee contract administration for construction site services and utilities
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract terms

• Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals

• Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel
  • Participate in bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit processing

Qualifications

• Education:

  • A relevant degree such as Bachelor’s or College Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Science, Education, Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred but not required

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of industry work experience, with at least 8 years in project management or project engineering
    • Knowledge of local construction and building codes
