Fast growing opportunity for a Staff level accountant! Flexible hybrid remote schedule available. The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include preparing, journal entries, and financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit and tax preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. To be successful as the Staff Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong analytical skills. An outstanding Staff Accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and meet deadlines. Duties/Responsibilities • Assist with month-, quarter-, and year-end financial closing activities in consolidation system. • Provide reports to both external and internal clients • Train other Finance and Accounting professionals at entities on the use of their ERP • Work with various entities on accounting and consolidation tasks • Prepare accounting entries • Assist in the preparation of the Board of Director's financials • Coordinate monthly reporting calendar • Collaborate in the monthly reporting package preparation • Assist with preparation of: • Financials & entity-level scorecards • Twelve-month report monthly including, sales, CAPEX, EBITDA, cash & total assets • Yearly audit • Research and document work instructions on accounting guidance • Internal controls procedures and test adherence • Calendar and reporting requirement instruction for entities in the US, Canada, and the UK. • Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP • Strong financial analysis skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong organizational & self-starter • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel Knowledge, Education, and Experience • 1-3 years of technical accounting experience • Accounting degree required, CPA a plus • International multi-company consolidation is a plus • Multiple years working with ERPs Company Description enVision Staffing Solutions, Inc. is a premier provider of workforce solutions.
