Job Summary

Nick the Greek is a quick serve restaurant that opened in 2021 in San Diego and was recently voted Best Greek Food in San Diego. During Covid, Nick the Greek rapidly added new locations in California and is now expanding in other states as well. We use only top quality meats and produce to prepare all our menu items.

We are looking for an experienced quick serve cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and experience in a high pressure quick serve restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food to order to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hands-on professional cook to grow with our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment

Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

Follow all food safety regulations

Follow all restaurant policies and procedures of Nick the Greek

Qualifications:

2+ years previous experience in a similar role is preferred

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification

Fluent in English and Spanish

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
