Job Description

_ Position Overview:_

The Enzymology Scientist is part of the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism, team. This lab role supports the small molecule portfolio to study enzyme drug-drug interactions, metabolic clearance, and matrix binding.

_ Position Responsibilities_ :

• Perform in vitro studies with biological matrices either by manually pipetting or through use of automated liquid handling systems.
• Perform bioanalysis of in vitro samples using LC-MS/MS or collaborate with the Bioanalytical team for sample analysis, depending on the specific in vitro study conducted.
• Occasional assay troubleshooting with colleague oversight.
• Data processing and report generation.
• Review reports for quality.
• Contribute to general laboratory housekeeping tasks and duties.
• Maintain up to date electronic laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with policy standards.
• Comply with all safety training and safe laboratory practices.

Qualifications

** Basic Minimum Requirements:**

• BS/MS degree in biology or related field
• Ability to communicate effectively with both oral and written communications
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Computer proficiency
• This position requires on-site work throughout core business hours of Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm
• Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed; core hours are 9am-3pm. **** Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton, CT ** __** are encouraged to apply.
