    Eos Human Resources Consulting is a small, but mighty team of professionals dedicated to providing human resources support to small businesses and new employers. To learn more about our company and services, visit our website at www.eoshr.com.

    We are hiring a Part-Time (25-30 hours/week) Human Resources Assistant who is responsible for providing day-to-day human resources administrative support for Eos HR Consulting and our clients. This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be available to travel to the San Leandro office once a week.

    THE HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Providing customer support for clients via email and phone, serving as the first point-of-contact for Eos HR.
    • Managing HR desk email
    • Creating, distributing, and maintaining employee documents for onboarding, termination, benefits, and other employee change events.
    • Updating and maintaining client information in databases.
    • Coordinating meeting schedules, logistics, materials, and agendas. Attending meetings and calls, as needed.
    • Supporting recruiting with job posting, scheduling, and candidate communication.
    • Maintaining employee files and documents (soft and hard copies).
    • Developing HR knowledge and staying abreast of developments in HR compliance and best practices.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • At least 2 years of administrative and/or human resources experience
    • Able to travel to client sites throughout the Bay Area as needed
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, G Suite, Mac OS. Bonus points if you're familiar with Asana, DocuSign, Streak CRM, Jotform, and any applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms.
