Electrical Engineer - Natural Gas Projects (Compressor Station Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team, with a focus on natural gas infrastructure projects, including compressor station design and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for natural gas processing facilities, pipelines, compressor stations, and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

-This role will be interacting with the electrical contractor and the owner to interpret the drawings to spec for project execution

\- Interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and documentation for compressor station and other natural gas infrastructure

\- Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for existing compressor station and natural gas electrical infrastructure

\- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

\- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

\- 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the natural gas/energy industry with a focus on compressor station design and maintenance

\- Knowledge of electrical design principles, methods, and equipment specific to compressor stations and natural gas processing facilities

\- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

\- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
