Job Description

Epic Edge Software Consulting has one (1) full-time position for a Software Engineer to join our team. The position is in San Antonio, but is currently remote during this time.

We are seeking a candidate with a passion for developing efficient, user-friendly, and intuitive solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends. The candidate must have experience with Angular (e.g. 2-9) front ends and REST Services. The candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills as well as a proven ability to work independently. The candidate will focus on design, implementation and testing of the software built on a technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent Angular and JavaScript experience writing single page JavaScript applications
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript scripting languages
• Experience interacting with RESTful HTTP APIs
• Solid understanding and experience with UI layouts, CSS/SASS, and libraries such as Bootstrap
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and business sponsors
• Define and implement unit tests
• Develop high quality, shippable code in short increments.
