    The Epicor Business Systems Administrator will support the Epicor Kinetic environment. This will include ensuring that health and performance of the Kinetic application, playing a key role in upgrades, and taking the lead in troubleshooting issues. This role will participate in providing direct end user support for problems and questions. The position involves managing work from a ticketing system and being a responsible, credible source of assistance to associates.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting performance and security for the Kinetic environment. This includes SQL Server management and Kinetic application servers.

    Responsible for taking the lead in troubleshooting potential bugs or issues with Kinetic that are beyond day-to-day ticket requests.

    Works with functional associates on issues and projects with discussions led by the Director of Epicor Applications or a member of management.

    Participate in the day-to-day tickets related to Epicor Kinetic. Respond either in-person, with remote control, or by driving to our local sites.

    Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.

    Document the cause, effect, and resolution to production issues.

    Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of Kinetic.

    Responsible for, and participating in, the data backup process and disaster recovery planning.

    Qualifications

    Experience working with and managing an E9, E10, or Kinetic environment.

    1-3 years of related experience in a similar.

    Proficiency with MS Office software.

    Analytical and problem solving skills.

    Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

    Ability to be flexible and work both independently and in a team environment.

    Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours in support of system maintenance, system deployments, and upgrades.

    A results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments.

    Communicate effectively with co-workers at all levels of the business.

    Excellent English oral and written communication.
