    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Our dynamic Marketing team is looking for an experienced leader who can bring their expertise as a marketing communications and solutions marketer to promote our value proposition to the future of risk managed healthcare. As the SR. MANAGER, MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS, you will develop and implement strategic solution-focused messaging frameworks and content marketing strategies for Episource. Responsible for brand management, this leader will direct a team responsible for the execution of Episource outbound communications and design. We are seeking a dynamic communicator with an executive presence and experience building compelling thought leadership content programs, communicating a cohesive message through a variety of interactive and print formats and enabling sales teams with compelling tools. Experience managing analyst relations, public relations and case study programs preferred. Provides direction and assistance in all areas of communications and design strategy and execution. Serves as the brand managing editor and sets benchmarks and regularly reports out success metrics for management review.

    Content Development (General and Digital) – 30%

    · Create a comprehensive marketing communications plan to support Episource’s commercial objectives that lead to competitive wins and increased market share.

    · Leverage superior writing skills to create a steady stream of high-quality written content that differentiates Episource in the market and resonates with target buyers (both technical and business) including website, datasheets, case studies, brochures, whitepapers, video scripts, etc.

    · Manage and improve marketing assets to improve internal and external alignment and performance (RFP response catalog, SOW, resource management, collateral management, newsletters, etc.)

    · Manage the evidence-based materials (white papers, presentations, articles, events, webinars, tradeshows) which position Episource as the leader within market space.

    · Further develop and maintain the Episource “story” and improve storytelling and content production efforts, drafting various thought pieces and/or manage content writers and consultants, as needed.

    · Collaborate with the likes of product managers, technical subject matter experts and corporate executives to develop and execute solution-focused messaging frameworks.

    · Define a content strategy aligned to the buyer’s journey and informed by buyer personas, Episource sales cycle and marketing best practices.

    · Gifted writer that contributes fresh ideas and compelling copy, while serving as a writing mentor to the broader marketing team.

    · Marketer with rich experience collaborating with internal designers, and outside design partners, to properly represent the Episource brand and ensure consistency and innovation.

    · A storyteller responsible for weaving cohesive messaging through a variety of formats and delivery channels.

    · Collaborates with the Sr. Manager, Demand Generation and Digital Marketing to communicate the right message, at the right time, through the right channel.

    · Skilled at interviewing technical SMEs to get a story and manages outside writers and agencies to develop compelling content.

    · Effectively communicates externally to analyst groups, media outlets and other communication agencies.

    · Builds and executes a successful thought leadership content strategy from the ground up.

    · Understands SEO and develops content strategies around it to fuel nurture steams and optimize conversion rates and website engagement.

    · Experienced web writer that can continuously optimize corporate website content.

    · Special projects as assigned.

    Public and Media Relations – 20%

    · Develop and execute the Episource media strategy that drives our story across healthcare and mainstream press; direct proactive public relations programs in support of marketing objectives.

    · Direct and supervise the services provided by Episource’s public relations agency in support of strategic directives and as additional opportunities arise.

    · Develop ideas for news releases. Write and distribute press releases; report on distribution metrics.

    Social Media – 15%

    · Further develop and implement the Episource social media strategy whose goal is to maintain and grow brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, establish thought leadership that may lead to solution adoption.

    · Educate Episource employees on best practices for selling and customer relations via social platforms thereby encouraging the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture.

    · Manage presence in appropriate social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other similar social media sites, posting of relevant blog articles, and seeding content into social applications as needed.

    Events – 15%

    · Lead event planning and execution with demonstrated skills in project management, attention to detail, communication and coordination, problem-solving, negotiation, multitasking, budgeting and creative execution.

    Brand Management – 10%

    · Collaborate on the planning, management and implementation of all brand/thought leadership initiatives.

    · Drive implementation of significant short- and long-term efforts to advance the Episource brand identity to increase visibility of our brand across key stakeholders and audiences.

    · Implement and enforce corporate brand and graphic identity standards, ensuring a consistent image of and brand voice and tone for Episource across all communications channels.

    Reporting – 10%

    · Collaborate on the planning, management and implementation of all brand/thought leadership initiatives.

    · An agile leader that regularly measures content engagement through qualitative and quantitative metrics and optimizes and/or sunsets as needed to improve performance.

    · Participates in planning and analysis of content analytics and creates reports for distribution

    · Google analytics

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    · 10+ years relevant experience in a corporate communications capacity with relevant experience in executing creative strategies for internal and external stakeholders.

    · 5+ years track record of proven success in marketing communications in healthcare, information technology, or similar field.

    · 5+ years of proven public relations/media relations experience in healthcare, information technology, or a similar field.

    · 3+ years of social media experience with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and how they can be strategically deployed.

    · Experience with managing outside vendors including design firms, advertising agencies, PR agencies, web consultants, etc.

    · High proficiency working with MS Office/Google Office Suite,

    · Natural storytelling skills with a gift for writing, listening, and presenting with the ability to work with graphics teams to create compelling content that maps our solution to customer pain points

    · Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of internal and external communications, public relations, media relations, social media, advertising, and marketing.

    · Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

    · Proven project management (planning and time management) and organizational skills.

    · Proven track record of building long-term, beneficial media relationships.

    · Demonstrated ability to understand complex subject matter, along with the skills needed to simplify and explain topics for a broad audience of stakeholders.

    · Strong interpersonal skills and communications style to develop confidence not only among associates and the Executive Team, as well as current and potential customers.

    · A strategic mindset: Ability to bring creative solutions to problems and never see a challenge as insurmountable.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    · Strategic marketing communications experience building and executing outreach plans and campaigns

    · Knowledge in Healthcare/Risk Adjustment Industry

    · Experience in narrative development and storytelling, designing, developing and creating new media (e.g. video, digital, storytelling/infographics)

    · Experience in brand, culture, engagement and change management work

    · Experience developing content across a range of platforms and media (digital-friendly, visual/storytelling style, such as videos and infographics); versatility in creating both branded and unbranded content and willingness to innovate

    · Experience in designing, planning and executing large meetings for internal audiences, with attention to detail and the full audience-experience

    EDUCATION

    · B.A. in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field

    · MBA, preferred

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    · Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

    · Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
