    POSITION:

    Inventory Analyst

    ** 2nd shift 2pm to 10pm Monday-Friday**

    JOB TYPE:

    Full-time, W2 Contract, on site

    LOCATION:

    Fargo, ND

    JOB SUMMARY FOR INVENTORY ANALYST:

    • This position will have a heavy focus on auditing inventory, and parts counting within a kit for a work order. Excel spreadsheet knowledge is very desirable.
    • Perform warehousing and inventory transactions in a timely and accurate manner for John Deere. Conduct inventory audits and provide escalations of discrepancies to team members

    RESPONSIBILITIES FOR INVENTORY ANALYST:

    1. Ensure timely processing of reels and daily cycle counts – multi site required (Main Plant, PES, LOG, 601).

    2. Support and communicate workplace policies and practices.

    3. Conduct bin, kit, and Kanban audits and relay issues/inaccuracies to Material Coordinators.

    4. Manage space allocation in vertical storage units (Kardex).

    5. Process return jobs from SMT Lines.

    6. Process reels through ‘Reel aMounts’ and count as needed.

    7. Assist with last time buy prepping activities.

    8. Support FIFO inventory procedures

    DUTIES :

    • Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed e.g.
    • Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process cycle counting process or disposition of excess material. Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
    • Coordinates and analyzes daily monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy.
    • Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports.
    • Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources processes.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR INVENTORY ANALYST:

    REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE : Assembly, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience preferred

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    1. Demonstrated computer skills required, including field input and transmission requirements and understanding of daily reports.

    2. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an 8 hour shift and to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Will drive stock picker at times to access inventory (training will be provided).

    3. Must be detail oriented.

    4. Ability to coordinate schedules and workload, and multi-task as required.

    5. Must be highly motivated, self-starter, team oriented and work with little or no supervision.

    6. Demonstrated verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.

    7. Must be able to apply quality control techniques.

    8. Must be capable of distinguishing part and quantity numbers.

    Salary info:

    $20 - $20 / hr
