    Job Description

Forsta is the world’s leading provider of experience and research technology. We work with some of the world’s best-known brands to help them discover, understand and share smart insights packed with real action potential.

We collaborate, we listen, we tailor, we design the solution together. We adapt our market-leading experience and research technology to our clients’ needs, not the other way around.

We’re searching for an exceptional Product Marketer to help us present our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.

This position can be located in either Boston or Chicago.

Forsta is a new name, but we’ve been innovating for over 25 years. Today we’re more than 700 strong, working with nearly 1,000 market research agencies around the world, from boutique specialists to the largest international networks.

We're looking for specific skills in:

    • Messaging/Positioning: Develop compelling enterprise and agency messaging that’s aligned with our brand narrative, products/solutions, and competitive differentiators and resonates with our key personas and their value drivers
    • Sales Enablement: Create and execute a full range of sales tools, including sales decks, playbooks, case studies, guides, product videos and more to improve close rates and decrease time-to-sales. Be glued at the hip with our sales teams, accompanying them on sales calls, learning first-hand what works and what doesn't with customers and prospects
    • Content Creation/Demand Generation: Create middle-of-the-funnel marketing content aligned to buyer personas (which you’ll own), including white papers, e-books, ROI tools, collateral, website content, videos, webinar content and blogs, to facilitate lead generation efforts
    • Competitive Intelligence: Understand Forsta's buyers and competitors, and partner cross-functionally with product management and sales teams to align focus, content, strategy, vision, and direction

    You’ll be:

    • Creative AND quantitative — You’re an analytical thinker, that appreciates strong brand design and copy
    • A minimalist — You use the least number of words to get your message across
    • Tech savvy — You easily transform technical concepts into engaging stories
    • Versatile — You like short-form copy as much as you like longer, heavy-weight content
    • Autonomous — happy coming up with content ideas on your own, researching unfamiliar topics as you go
    • Organized — You can manage complex projects
    • Calm under pressure — Able to work with short deadlines, delivering at speed when required

    You’ll know how to:

    • Captivate audiences — know your buyers, decision makers, influencers and users, who are they, how they buy, their product purchase criteria and pain points.
    • Map the journey — Documenting the buyer journey, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make
    • Enable sales – Educating and training sales colleagues on the problems we solve for our buyers / users / influencers, developing internal tools and external collateral.
    • Compete — Understanding our buyers and competitors, partnering with product management and sales teams to align on content, strategy, vision, and direction
    • The competitive landscape and how our competitors are positioned.
    • Collaborate — with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • 5+ years of product marketing experience in either B2B or B2C technology
    • English language to native or bilingual standard, with demonstrable experience driving production of product marketing collateral
    • Familiar with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Marketo and Salesforce
