Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i) is focused on software development and systems engineering for intelligence and combat systems. Our software teams employ an Agile/Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities into mature solutions. Our primary end users are focused on the safety and security of Navy and other DoD personnel.
SUMMARY: Work on a team developing cutting-edge technology to support DevOps testing environments for integrating Commercial and Government Off the Shelf (COTS/GOTS) technologies. We incorporate scenario-based automation to produce realistic, repeatable data that is integrated into a continuous development pipeline.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within an AGILE software development and integration environment.
- Create and enhance automation framework using Python, Java, Robot Framework and web-based technologies to automate system health checks, APIs, functional tests, and verification and validation of various system capabilities.
- Implements re-usable plug-and-play components to enhance automation framework capabilities
- Develop software code to model data types, equipment, servers, signals and networks to produce realistic and repeatable data.
- Develop processes and practices to integrate Infrastructure as Code (IAC) utilizing commercial environments such as AWS
- Codify fully distributed, machine learning workflows across Hadoop components such as NiFi, Kafka, Storm, Spark, Accumulo, and Esri GIS mapping software.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- Two (2) to six (6) years of software engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
- Experience in using Git as a source code repository tool.
- Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
