Description:
Join Cooper Equipment Rentals, a new division of Cooper Tacia General Contracting. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Equipment Delivery Specialist to join our office in New Bern, NC. In this role you will be responsible for the safe transportation of equipment, while promoting a positive attitude, professionalism and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Transport and deliver a full line of equipment
· Operate all commercial or non-commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner
· Ability to operate assorted line of construction and heavy equipment
· Perform pre and post trips daily
· Ensure delivery vehicle is properly maintained with a clean appearance
· Maintain proper logs and paperwork accurately for DOT compliance
· Adhere to all customer site safety guidelines and protocols
· Provide training to customers at time of delivery to ensure the safe operation of equipment
· Adhere to all company safety guidelines and protocols
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Valid class A CDL with acceptable driving record
· HS diploma or equivalent
· Knowledge of construction equipment preferred
· Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience
· Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
· Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills
