    SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

     

    DEPARTMENT:   Sales

    JOB STATUS:   Full Time

    FLSA STATUS:  Non-exempt (hourly)

    REPORTS TO:  Director of Sales

    GRADE/LEVEL:  

    AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED: 5-10%

    WORK SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Provides administrative support and assistance to the sales team by preparing and processing requests in compliance with policies and procedures.  Gathers and reviews necessary documentation and information within designated timeframes.  Communicates with sales and other internal staff and customers.  Responds to inquiries, resolves problems, and obtains additional documentation needed to support the sales process.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

    o    Assist the General Managers/ Director of Sales on territory changes, data base, literature

    o    Assist with CRM work, clean up, lead additions, report generation

    o    Interface with Corporate on issues with CRM, SRA, and IBM

    o    Responsible for some Marketing Coordination with Corporate (data, lists from sales, customer info, etc.) and data mining from ERP, CRM, Google.

    o    Create/Advise on Presentations

    §  Build a library of quotes (ROI driven info to assist sales people)

    §  Work with Fleet specialist when necessary

    §  Design/professionalize/ standardize and build a library of sales presentations for use or update by the sales force.

    ·         ROI for fleet conversions from Industrial Combustion to Electric

    ·         Service costs analysis

    ·         Create, update and distribute Fleet savings and reports

    o    Assist Regional staff with Marketing/ presentations for meetings

    §  DPS with Fleet reports and service presentation data

    §  Develop presentations for sales meetings that include market share, penetration and win/loss reports

    §  Develop reports to help manage the sales force and territories

    ·         CFO KPI’s (Monthly and YTD) reports

    ·         YTD OPCO customer revenue analysis reports

    §  Assist RVP with market research and presentations on a variety of items currently not being analyzed to help determine future changes and strategy.

    o    Participate in/on Special projects & teams

    o    Oversee and Track OEM marketing funds and help coordinate usage

    o    Participate in setting up and structure of OPCO sales meetings

    o    Oversee local marketing for sales contests and spiffs

    o    Manage Fleet EQ set up duties, and assist salesforce with customer data, set up, and possible demo’s at the customer sites

    ·         Perform other duties as assigned

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    EDUCATION: College Degree in Business or Marketing Preferred  

    EXPERIENCE: 3 + years of office administration/customer service experience/inside or outside sales

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

     

    LICENSES: Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the company
