Job Overview
We are looking for dependable and hardworking Construction Workers / Fitters to support tank installation and assembly work at our project site in Liberty, Texas.
This role will primarily assist with the assembly, fitting, fastening, and adjustment of metal tank components. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active construction environment, handling heavy materials, using basic tools, and following instructions from supervisors and experienced crew members.
We are looking for individuals who are honest, punctual, safety-conscious, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and assembly of industrial tanks.
- Assemble and align metal plates and tank components according to instructions.
- Install, tighten, and secure bolts, fasteners, and related hardware.
- Make adjustments to metal plates and components to ensure proper alignment and fit.
- Assist experienced fitters and installation crews with daily construction activities.
- Handle, move, position, and organize construction materials and equipment.
- Use hand tools and basic construction tools safely and properly.
- Help prepare work areas before installation activities begin.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and project leads.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Perform other construction and installation duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be physically capable of performing construction-related work, including:
- Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working in different physical positions.
- Working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
- Handling metal components, tools, and construction materials throughout the workday.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, mechanical assembly, metalwork, tank installation, fitting, or related experience is preferred.
- Experience with metal plate assembly and bolt fastening is a plus.
- Ability to use common hand tools and construction tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
- Strong attention to safety and jobsite procedures.
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite is preferred.
- Must be able to report to work consistently and on time.
