Equipment Leasing Account Specialist

• Hours: 7:00-3:30. 7:30-4:00, or 8:00-4:30 (you select which work schedule is best for you), Monday-Friday
• Hybrid Schedule: 3-days Onsite, 2-days Remote

What You'll Be Doing

Under general supervision, this highly visible position provides departmental support as well as customer support in for our equipment leasing product. Working directly with the sales team, customers and external lenders this role covers the lifecycle of equipment leasing to ensure that all documentation, communication and files are complete in service to fast and accurate funding. After funding, this role is responsible for contacting customers to service and collect on delinquent accounts. This role will be responsible for developing good working relationships both internally and externally and work to continuously improve the customer journey and lease performance.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manages existing leases within their portfolio for returned payments; including reaching out to customers to resolve any missed or delinquent payment.
• Resolves customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due.
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts, which entails a high volume of phone calls to customers.
• Performs review of all incoming documentation including auditing and verifying documents for accuracy using external lender guidelines and works directly with the sales team to collect the necessary missing information to fund.
• Maintains constant email and verbal communication with external lenders.
• Maintains company lease system by entering, updating and retrieving data for credit applications.
• Uses a variety of resources to verify client business information, including: business name, place of business, time in business, ownership, etc.
• Funds all equipment leasing packages within a designated service level agreement determined by lead/supervisor.
• Facilitates credit approvals and understand how to clear credit stipulations and gather the proper supporting documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

An Ideal Candidates Looks Like This:

• ****3+ years of experience in an office and customer service or collections environment.

• Prior experience in equipment leasing is strongly preferred.

• Experience with SalesForce is preferred but not required.

• Professional demeanor and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

• Strong, effective verbal and written communications skills.

• Must be able to work independently and/or with a team.

• Maintains strict confidentiality and exercises solid judgment to complete assigned tasks.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications and Outlook for email. Strong
  internet skills.

• Willingness and desire to seek continuing education and self-improvement.
