As an Equipment Operations Analyst intern, you will support construction operations by assisting with equipment sourcing, procurement, coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and analyzing data to improve efficiency. You will also contribute to process improvements, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth supply chain functions. A mentor will be assigned to guide and support you throughout the internship. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in company events and community volunteer activities.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Documentation, Reporting, & Analysis
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Data analysis of supply chain activities and provide insights based on metrics
- Equipment Procurement
* Assist in ordering external equipment using standardized templates.
* Gather and verify required information (delivery date, pickup date, equipment specs, project contact, rental PO).
* Compare vendor pricing and delivery options to ensure competitive rates.
* Track third-party rentals for billing accuracy.
* Communicate any issues or delays to project teams promptly.
- Invoicing & Administrative Accuracy
* Support processing of invoices and financial documentation.
* Help maintain a zero-balance invoice queue by the end of each week.
* Check accuracy of rental charges, third-party invoices, and internal billing.
* Flag anomalies or overcharges to the manager.
- Operational Support & Team Development
* Process improvements to help identify inefficiencies and suggest enhancements to existing supply chain processes.
* Assist with inventory control, tagging, and documentation.
* Support daily logistics and equipment flow within the yard.
* Participate in occasional project site visits to build relationships and understand field needs.
* Help maintain fleet maintenance schedules as needed.
* Process improvements to help identify inefficiencies and suggest enhancements to existing supply chain process.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Knowledge of and proficient in the use of personal computers and related Microsoft software.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong skills in time management, ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, working with multiple demands with strong attention to details.
- Ability to travel to and within project sites.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college and pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
