    ABOUT CITADELX

CitadelX is the demolition, sitework, and concrete division of Citadel Development Group built to bring greater control, efficiency, and accountability to the earliest and most critical phases of construction. From selective demolition to full building removal, earthwork, and concrete execution, CitadelX controls the front end of the project so everything that follows can move faster, cleaner, and with fewer surprises.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

CitadelX is looking for a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to join our growing field team. This is a hands-on, project-based role that requires operating a variety of heavy and light equipment across demolition, earthwork, and site preparation scopes. You will work alongside experienced field crews on commercial construction projects across the state of Texas, and you are expected to show up ready to work, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and take pride in the quality of your work.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

→ Operate large and small excavators for demolition, mass grading, fine grading, trenching, and site prep

→ Run skid steers and compact track loaders for material handling, clearing, and cleanup

→ Perform selective and full-structure demolition, including slab removal and concrete demo

→ Execute earthwork scopes: mass grading, fine grading, pad prep, and building foundation prep

→ Assist with underground utilities and storm infrastructure installation

→ Support concrete flatwork and site improvement operations as needed

→ Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately

→ Operate equipment in a safe, controlled manner in compliance with all site safety protocols

→ Work collaboratively with site superintendents, laborers, and subcontractors

→ Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment

→ Travel to and work on projects across the state of Texas as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

→ Minimum 3 years of hands-on equipment operation experience in construction, demolition, or civil work

→ Demonstrated proficiency operating large and small excavators (e.g., Cat 320, 308, or equivalent)

→ Experience with skid steers / compact track loaders (Bobcat, Cat, Kubota, or equivalent)

→ Working knowledge of demolition practices, dirt work, grading, and site clearing

→ Ability and willingness to travel statewide and work extended schedules as projects demand.

→ Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record

→ Ability to read and interpret basic site plans and grade stakes

→ Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision in the field

Flexible work from home options available.
