Elsinore Valley Rentals is seeking a motivated team member who wants more than just a job. We are looking for someone interested in building a career in the equipment rental industry and growing with our company.
This role starts in the equipment yard, learning our equipment, safety standards, and daily operations. High-performing team members have the opportunity to transition into counter sales and customer service, with the potential to grow into store leadership and management.
Phase 1 – Yard Operations
Learn the foundation of the rental business.
Responsibilities include:
Equipment check-in and check-out inspections
Cleaning, fueling, and preparing equipment for rent
Loading and unloading equipment safely
Maintaining an organized and safe yard
Supporting mechanics and service operations
Skills developed:
Equipment knowledge
Safety awareness
Operational discipline
Team coordination
Phase 2 – Counter Sales & Customer Support
Transition from operations to customer-facing sales.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting customers in selecting the right equipment for their projects
Writing rental contracts and processing transactions
Explaining safe equipment operation
Recommending attachments, accessories, and related rentals
Coordinating with yard staff to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Skills developed:
Customer communication
Sales and problem solving
Project understanding
Equipment application knowledge
Phase 3 – Leadership Path
Top performers may advance toward supervisory or store management roles.
Responsibilities may include:
Leading daily team huddles and coordinating operations
Managing reservations, equipment availability, and utilization
Training new team members
Supporting outside sales and contractor relationships
Contributing to operational improvements and company growth

We are looking for someone who:
Is hands-on and mechanically inclined

Education, Skills & Requirements
Must be able to lift and move 50–70 lbs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Customer service aptitude and strong communication skills
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and business software)
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment applications
Equipment rental, construction, or tool experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate who demonstrates initiative and a strong work ethic.
