Position Summary
This is a solutions based sales position. You are the trusted advisor who helps homeowners, landscapers, churches, schools, and municipalities choose the perfect zero-turn, walk-behind, compact tractor, or handheld package for their needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet every customer within 10 seconds and ask: “Tell me about your land.”
Perform on-site or virtual property assessments (acres, terrain, gates, trees, budget, usage)
Demonstrate Grasshopper, Toro, and Husqvarna zero-turns, Utility vehicles, compact tractors, robotic mowers, and STIHL/ECHO handhelds in real conditions
Build complete grounds-care solutions: mower + bagger, tractor + loader/finish mower, full battery ecosystem
Write accurate quotes and sales orders, coordinate delivery and on-site training
Follow up at 7 days, 30 days, and every season — for life
Keep showroom, demo fleet, and lot to “grand-opening every day” standard
Live the company culture daily: relationships first, genuine care, zero pressure
Required Qualifications
2–5 years of customer-facing experience (equipment sales, landscaping, ag retail, or powersports strongly preferred)
Mechanical aptitude — you can explain deck lift systems, hydrostatic drives, battery run-times, and cut quality without a script
Natural listener who solves problems instead of pushing units
Comfortable and safe operating zero-turn mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors up to 60 hp, and all handheld OPE
Clean driving record and ability to demo on hills and uneven ground
Weekend and occasional evening availability. Half day saturdays are mandatory, rotating with half days off during the week.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience selling Grasshopper, Toro, Husqvarna, or Bobcat GME Equipment
Current or recent factory sales certification with any of our brands
Existing relationships with landscapers, homeowners’ associations, municipalities, or churches in Moore / Lee / Harnett counties
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $40,000 – $60,000 based on experience
Unit + gross-profit commission
Clear path: Sales Specialist → Senior Sales → Sales Manager → Owner-Operator Academy
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Seasonal Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
