    Equipment Technician - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 45.00/hour - Carlisle, PA

    • AllSearch has a client looking for an Equipment Technician in Carlisle, PA. Our client is a values-driven organization committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. In this role the Equipment Technician would maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment to minimize downtime, meet safety and food-safety standards, and support daily output goals. This client has a 1st shift opening at their Carlisle, PA location. 6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm with the potential of 10-15 hours of overtime weekly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute preventive maintenance; diagnose mechanical, electrical (including high voltage), hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; repair/replace parts per schematics and manuals.
    • Build/test/modify electronic components, panels, and switch gear; set up and validate equipment after service.
    • Assist with machine operation as needed to stabilize throughput and quality.
    • Follow OSHA and lockout/tagout (LOTO); ensure guards and loss-prevention devices are functional at all times.
    • Keep areas audit-ready; complete required safety checks and documentation on schedule.
    • Support food-safety programs (e.g., AIB/SQF): report facility risks; complete sanitation and inspection logs per cadence.
    • Respond to repair requests within 15 minutes with ETA; close work orders promptly.
    • Execute PM schedules; maintain critical-spares inventory to reduce MTTR and unplanned downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with municipal/state mechanical and electrical codes.
    • Accurately record maintenance activities, parts usage, and corrective actions.
    • Provide equipment training to department personnel; maintain current training documents.
    • Use approved vendors; review invoices within limits; recommend cost/repair/replace decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic).
    • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams; proficient with hand/measurement tools and test equipment.
    • Working knowledge of OSHA fundamentals, LOTO, and basic food-safety practices.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 35.00/hour - 45.00/hour range plus full benefits and over time.
