    Job Description

    A position is available for an ambitious hard working individual who is prepared to join a team who covers Equity Finance & Delta One products across the securities finanance market, focusing on Securities lending sales. Must also have some experience in execution platforms. An interest in vanilla equity derivatives would be useful and a passion for markets is essential.

    The candidate should have a strong quantitative background, experience in equitities & experienced in selling synthetic prime products to institutional clients Principal Accountabilities: Find an individual who is experienced in all sec financing products. They must also have prior knowledge and experience in transacting both derivative and cash products across various types of accounts. Have the skills to interact on a professional basis with both clients and traders. Must have a strong client relationships and be able to work within a team setup.

    Requirements

    Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

    • University Degree or advanced qualifications and equivalent experience

    • Experience in an Institutional Sales role

    • Strong understanding of Markets and Securities Services business and ability to work in a matrix organization

    • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

    • Strong Institutional client relationships

    • Series 7 and 63 required
