  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    - Conducts case file and record reviews for compliance and identifies opportunities for improvement or corrective actions and to ensure contractual performance expectations are met

    - Present consistent feedback to management regarding areas that need improvement

    - Reviews quality assurance standards, studies existing policies and procedures and interviews personnel and patients to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance programs

    - Provides comprehensive audits to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and clients receive the highest level of care

    - Ensures Funder, partner and Equus policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes

    - Clearly articulates and documents that staff are performing timely and accurate services according to operational procedures and processes

    - Provides audit reports to manager and keeps management informed as to the status of program quality matters, including performance

    - Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    -High School diploma or General Education Diploma and one to two years clerical experience in an office setting, additional education not required but desirable

    - Experience in conducting quality assurance auditing activities preferred

    - Excellent organizational skills and a solid diligence for being detailed, experience with publicly funded programs; TANF experience

    - Experience in assessing the need for and making reasonable accommodations for clients. Knowledge of HIPAA/PII laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities

    - Ability to use MS Word Suite and various client-based systems to carry out daily duties and responsibilities

    - Bilingual or multilingual preferred
