    Job Description

    PURPOSE

    This role requires a seasoned Finance System Program Manager to oversee multiple concurrent implementation and optimization projects. The ideal candidate has experience implementing Cloud ERP within complex organizations, either internally, or in a consultative capacity as well as a strong understanding of accounting and finance processes.

    DUTIES

    _ Project Planning and Execution_

    • Develop comprehensive project plans for all project phases in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Articulate and set the measurement for benefit realization.
    • Coordinate project team activities to ensure timely progress and alignment with objectives, milestones, and scope.
    • Work closely with various departments, including Finance, Accounting, Tax/Treasury, IT, and Operations.
    • Manage global finance technology implementations and process improvement initiatives.
    • Lead end-to-end project management efforts related to transition of work, finance related automation initiatives, and other transformative changes.
    • Develop and execute change management plans from concept to stabilization, including testing, training, feedback, and communication plans.
    • Document current and future state of processes, including process mapping.
    • Fully document, consider and impact assess all risks, gaps, issues, and dependencies relating to a project and communicate appropriately.
    • Managing projects on a day-to-day basis to deliver in line with agreed project plans.

    _ Financial Analysis and Budgeting_

    • Conduct financial analyses to assess project viability.
    • Create budgets and forecast expenditures.
    • Monitor project costs and recommend cost-saving measures or revenue-enhancing strategies.
    • Produce financial, reporting, and status updates as required for governance processes.

    _ Stakeholder Communication_

    • Regularly communicate project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with functional leaders to develop training and change management plans.
    • Ensuring business and operational readiness of change acceptance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related experience; CPA, MBA, and/or Project Management certification preferred, not required.
    • 8+ years of professional experience, preferably with demonstrated success in implementing finance systems for mid-large sized business. Government contract experience is a plus.
    • Experienced, with demonstrated career progression, managing multiple types of projects with varying degrees of complexity. Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience working within a Shared Services Organization is a plus.
    • Knowledge of process improvement, business operations, project management, change management, and workflow implementations.
    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Must be hands-on and detail-oriented, but also able to see the big picture.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project, and various financial reporting software and systems, SAP experience is non-negotiable.
    • Adept to function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
    • Strong communication skills – ability to condense information and be concise.
    • Strong relationship building skills, must build trust.
    • Experience participating and coordinating the compilation / documentation of business requirements.
