    We are looking for a mission-aligned person to join our Marketing team. The SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR lives and breather all things digital, has an aesthetic eye, understands the aspirations and inspirations of the conscious community, and is an energetic, efficient and empathetic team player. 

    You will play an important role in implementing the vision of the brand with the VP of New Store Development and the Director of Marketing. This is a part-time position that could grow to full time. This job reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Create daily posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (including Stories)
    • Manage Erewhon’s Pinterest boards
    • Maintain content calendar, develop and implement optimal posting schedule
    • Monitor comments and inquiries from followers
    • Deliver compelling digital content (text, image, and video)
    • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on strategic goals and educational value
    • Respond to customer inquiries and comments (when appropriate)
    • Implement giveaways
    • Coordinate with influencers and brands for special campaigns
    • Stay current with changes on all platforms ensuring maximum reach and effectiveness
    • Gather metrics and create bi-monthly reports for leadership

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • Minimum 2 years hands-on social media experience
    • Excellent written, oral and communication skills
    • A degree in (or working towards) Marketing, Entertainment, or related field
    • Highly organized with strong administrative skills
    • Proficiencies required: Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Google Docs
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
    • Proactive and able to work independently

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • At least one year of photography experience preferred
    • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Familiarity with online paid advertising
    • Ability to work 3 - 4 days of the week, Monday - Wednesday or Thursday
    • Flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    • Based on your experience ($23 - $25 per hour)
