Salary Range $85,000 to $102,000 annually + Benefits. Individual salaries dependent on location, experience and job-related factors.

Setting: Office Ergonomics
As an ergonomic specialist, you will provide ergonomic services delivering comfortable solutions in the office and remote work environments. Our ergonomics team works with designated clients/companies to assess their workplace, develop programs to reduce risk, and provide general ergonomic education.
Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) has been providing ergonomic services to the Bay Area for 20 years. Many of our team members have been with PRN Ergonomic Services for 10+ years. We currently have an opening for an Ergonomist to serve our clients in the Bay area. We're looking for someone who has experience working with office ergonomics.
We offer flexible schedules to support your work/life balance. This position is a hybrid work schedule of remote work and in-person visits to our client’s offices/facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct job task analysis by performing independent virtual, telephonic, or in person ergonomic evaluations
- Provide functional job descriptions
- Identify accommodations or modified task requirements for injured or disabled workers
- Obtain measurements, video documentation and/or photographs, qualitative and quantitative data
- Data analysis and implementing risk-based solutions
- Integrate root cause analysis to ergonomic findings
- Knowledge of various ergonomic equipment/products
- Knowledge of RSI risks, methods of prevention & healthy lifestyle
- Select alternative devices/products when ergonomically necessary
- Maintain proficiency in ergonomic product knowledge
- Projects as assigned: ergonomic presentations, ergonomic guides, etc.
Independently Conduct Ergonomic Assessments:
- Desk & AKP height adjustments
- Chair Fittings & measurements
- Monitor adjustments & measurements
- Lighting adjustments & measurements
- Identify functional and frequency requirements to perform job duties
Education Experience:
- Ergonomic certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree Required. Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred
- Experience as an Exercise Physiologist, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of office ergonomics experience required

- Good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Possess excellent time-management skills and able to work independently under general guidance
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people
- Ability to work as part of a team and display a positive attitude for this dynamic environment
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and a systematic approach to work
- Must be adept in Mac and PC, particularly in Excel, Email, and Word
- Current knowledge of keyboard short cuts in Mac and/or PC
