We currently run Buildertrend and QuickBooks, so a candidate should ideally have extensive experience with both platforms. 

The Bookkeeper is primarily responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, verifying accuracy of sub-contractor/vendor invoices and preparing client invoices. The ideal candidate is able to efficiently multi-task, work independently and possesses strong interpersonal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process inbound invoices from vendors and subcontractors through verifying accuracy and cross reference to Buildertrend.
• Preparing timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
• Record all transactions received from online banking to reconcile checking account with Quickbooks.
• Maintain compliance through efficient management of all vendor and subcontractor COI's, W9's, lien waivers, etc.
• Monitoring and effective management of company cash flow.
• Track company expenses ensuring proper and timely payment.
• Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Enter data, maintain records and financial statements.
• Maintain overall GL activities.
• Prepare and submit construction loan draw requests against multiple projects.
• Prepare and submit owner invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in QuickBooks
• Buildertrend, or related construction management software is a significant plus, but not necessary
• 4 year degree in accounting, finance, or business administration a plus
• QuickBooks certified a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and records
