Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

· Income Tax Return Preparation - Individual, Corporate and Fiduciary

· Client Accounting, Financial Statement Preparation & Analysis

· Preparation of Payroll Tax Returns and Sales Tax Returns

· Year-end Tax Planning

· Special Projects and Governmental Notices

· Client Communication

Staff Accountant Requirements:

· At least 5 years’ experience in public accounting

· Accounting Degree (CPA not required)

· Proficient with industry standard software (experience with Lacerte and Accounting CS is a plus)

· Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel

· In-depth tax knowledge at the federal, state and local levels

· Ability to communicate with clarity and professionalism with co-workers and clients

· Unwavering commitment to co-workers and clients in a results-oriented environment
