Eridan is a rapidly-growing startup building 5G radios to enable abundant wireless connectivity everywhere in the world. Our MIRACLE transceiver is based on a patent-protected switching architecture that decreases the amount of power required to transmit a gigabit of data by 5-10x. We're a small team with big aspirations to put an Eridan transceiver in every wireless device in the world, and we believe in the power of teamwork and focus to enable outsized results. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a focused, creative and detail-oriented problem solver who will be a key contributor to help our business grow by developing creative solutions in response to accounting and finance challenges. Working directly with our CFO, a successful Financial Analyst at Eridan will help develop plans to fuel our growth and should be interested in developing and executing the successful financial management of a rapidly growing startup.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account company's goals and financial standing
• Develop financial models and prepare reports and projections based on financial data.
• Deliver accurate and timely information that enables our leaders to make sound business decisions
• Prepare and review the annual forecast/budgeting process from initiation to Board approval
• Prepare cost proposals for government contracts and maintain recordkeeping of milestones and submissions
• Track and maintain reporting on headcount, expenses, and key operational metrics
• Perform monthly variance analysis and be able to identify and communicate drivers
• Build and maintain relationships with key employees across the business
• Review vendor contracts.
• Review and update regulatory and government annual reports/surveys/census.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• BA in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3+ years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or related field
• Comfortable in small, but rapidly growing company with continuous change
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, MS Project, and financial software applications

NICE TO HAVE:

• CPA, CMA or MBA
• Experience with government contractors
