JOB DESCRIPTION

FACILITY: Erie Insurance Arena **
POSITION:** PART-TIME CONCESSIONS RUNNER **
REPORTS:** Arena Food and Beverage Coordinator **
HOURLY RATE:** $15.00 per hour **
SCHEDULE:** Some day shifts on weekdays, every night event hosted at the Arena

POSITION SUMMARY:

He/she provides logistical support in directive order from the kitchen/warehouse to the concourse level stands. Deliver ordered items to the concession stands, bars, and dippin' dots in a timely manner. Deliver extra supplies as requested by stand staff throughout the event. Change kegs as needed throughout the event. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

He/she must have a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must be 18 years or older. He/she must demonstrate the ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions. He/she must work well in a team environment and have the ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment. He/she must have the ability to follow oral and written direction and perform simple mathematical calculations. He/she must be able to stand and exert well- paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to work an event-based schedule which regularly includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description Detail:

• Stock stands and bars according to inventory stand sheets.
• Deliver perishable items to stands on event day while stands are setting up.
• Continue to keep stands stocked throughout the event.
• Change kegs as needed throughout the event.
• Store empty kegs in appropriate storage area.
• Collect trash from all stands at the end of the event.
• Ensure that all equipment is turned off and the stand is locked.
• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required. ** _
