Excited for a part time nanny / babysitter to join us for 10 - 12 hours per week starting November 1. We have twin 5 years olds and for years we have had a wonderful au pair live with us but now that the children are in school full time we only need a few hours a week, a few times a week in the late afternoons into early evening with ONE date night. Requirements - Childcare experience (even if it was short) - Please do not apply if you are NOT vaccinated. Our children aren't vaccinated and we need to protect them. - No driving is required besides getting to and from your shift at our home. About the twins and us: We live in beautiful Briarcliff Manor and our home has massive play spaces and yard. Twins go to a preschool in Chappaqua, they are very well behaved and listen well (for 5 year olds). We are boy / girl twins. Our girl is very "girly" LOVES Barbies and pretend play and our boy, loves Star Wars (anything action figure) and also loves active play like riding bike in our circular driveway. My husband works in NYC. We are both fully vaccinated w booster shots. Needs: - playing with the twins, keeping an eye on them - reading story books and coming up with ideas for play - any kid related clean up help during the shift (dishes, toys, folding laundry) Pay: Competitive for the right person. We want to make sure this person can commit to at least 7-12 mos if not longer as we really see this babysitter/nanny as a very regular in our household, and an extention of our family. We do not want to circulate multiple caregivers with our kids. Hours and schedule: We are looking for someone to give a minimum of 10 hours and a likely maximum would be around 12 - 13 hours per week. 1 date night per week is a MUST and would have to be either Thurs, Fri or Sat night and we would home no later than 9pm. We can be flexible with the schedule but typical week schedule would be as seen below. there is slight flexibility, for example if you prefer 3:15pm or 3:30 start OR Tuesday instead of Wednesday. We can discuss but it can't be too far off this schedule. Again 1 date night evening is a must. Monday: 3 - 6pm Wednesday: 3 - 6pm Thursday: 4 - 7pm Friday or Saturday 5pm - 8pm Really looking forward to meeting a caring, responsible person who LOVES kids and enjoys playing and having fun.
