    Job Description

     

    SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR- MAC OS -

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Candidate will be the IT Operations Subject Matter Expert in supporting the Mac OS across the enterprise. The role will participate in the expansion of the integration of Mac OS, including supporting management and security solutions. Position is an excellent opportunity to bring skills and experience to a team of highly motivated system administrators that support the firm’s client, server, and cloud solutions.

     

    The IT System Administrator will be part of a successful team that provides Level II support and administration for MAC and Windows desktop, Azure, O365 and other cloud services, Windows server, and enterprise application support. Candidate will work with diverse technologies and participate in strategic projects in a collaborative environment. The role includes contact with user community and requires great customer service skills.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide Level II support of corporate MAC OS and Windows devices and applications

    • Work with the MAC OS and Windows OS as well as the Jamf and Egnyte products.

    • System administration duties

    • Active Directory Administration

    • Office 365 and Azure Administration

    • Enterprise Applications Administration and Monitoring

    • Monitor system, server and network alerts; resolve issues

    • Monitor and test data replication and disaster recovery systems

    • Manage asset tracking for responsible offices

    • Ensure rights management and security comply with company policy

    • Participate in project initiatives

    • Provide second level desktop support for desktop and laptop setups / QA for new users

    • Work closely with other regional support team to maintain company infrastructure.

    • Work closely with IT Engineering team on cloud, infrastructure, application, security and compliance projects.

    • Be on call for After-Hours Emergency Support coverage approximately four weeks a year

     

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Working technical knowledge of Mac OS Software and Hardware

    • Jamf Cloud administration. Concentrating on support and device policies. Including Okta, LDAP and Active Directory Integration

    • Strong experience with Cloud solutions including O365, Azure, Egnyte, and Okta

    • Proven success in leveraging automation and scripting tools to deliver efficient and secure results

    • Understanding of DEP, Volume Purchasing Programs, Apple Business Manager and integration with Jamf and Nomad/JamfConnect

    • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

    • Strong Best-Practice Security and Compliance standards focus

    • Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

    • 3 years of experience in user support, especially support of Mac OS in an enterprise environment.
