Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Escrow Assistant
Answers incoming phone calls, emails, greets customers, and places calls in a timely, professional manner with an emphasis on building customer relationships.
Distributes incoming and outgoing correspondence with cost-conscious considerations while adhering to time guidelines, e.g. status letters, lender loan packages, title commitments, FedEx or UPS (overnight), etc.
Organizes and maintains file system, file correspondence and other records.
Gathers accurate information, opens orders, initial file set up, deposit and disbursement of funds, written transmittals for funds and documents, handles reconveyances, pre-closing maintenance and post-closing follow-up on assigned files.
Maintains the escrow process flow and the escrow "to do check list.
May provide transaction information to authorized persons and/or determine who can best provide and route the request.
May process completed loan packages including applicable conditions, copies and instructions.
Complies with customer preference forms.
Support and alignment with Company Core Values; service, integrity, teamwork, trust & respect, accountability and profitability.
Work overtime as required to meet the business needs.
Consistently works pre-established work schedule.
Participates in cross training to meet the business strategies.
