Job Description Duties and Responsibilities include: - Gather all information/documentation for closing (e.g., payoffs, homeowners insurance, HOA dues, termite/sewer/septic letters, surveys, earnest money checks, funding, etc.). - Act as facilitator to all parties, realtors, lenders, other title agents, builders, etc. throughout the closing process. - Work with closer/legal/underwriting to cure title as needed. - Prepare HUD-1 Settlement Statements in compliance with sales contracts, lender's closing instructions, buyer/seller/realtor instructions and state/federal laws. - Balance and disburse files consistent with good and "collected" funds policies. - Back up closing agent to prepare closed files for return to lender in timely manner. - Perform post-closing quality control check on files, ensuring all requirements (lender, title, closing, notary, recording, etc.) have been met, and prepare and transmit documents for recording in a timely manner. - Provide "extreme" customer service to all internal and external customers. - Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, consumers, lenders, Realtors and builders.
Qualifications
Title Experience preferred and knowledge of GFE HUD-1 is a plus. - Computer savvy (experience with Softpro or other title/closing software is a plus). - Efficient, self-starter with a positive attitude. --Excellent and accurate typing skills is a MUST --STRONG attention to DETAIL required - Organization skills are a plus. EXPERIENCED CLOSER (1-2 yrs as a Closer) NEEDED IMMEDIATELY. Must pass a background screening.
