We're looking for a detail-oriented, licensed Escrow Officer to manage real estate settlement transactions from start to finish. As a key liaison between all parties involved—buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and vendors—you'll ensure that closings are smooth, accurate, and timely.
- Coordinate and schedule real estate closings
- Review title commitments and resolve issues (liens, judgments, heirship, etc.)
- Understand and process contracts, loan documents, and addendums
- Balance closing disclosures and troubleshoot discrepancies with lenders
- Explain documents and procedures to clients; obtain notarized signatures
- Oversee document recording and escrow fund disbursement
- Supervise escrow assistants and collaborate with management
- Maintain escrow accounting and reconcile balances
- Stay compliant with continuing education and license requirements
- Active Texas Escrow Officer License (required)
- Notary Public (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in title insurance or escrow
- Knowledge of real estate contracts, disclosures, and closing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
