Mid Cities Psychiatry in Euless, TX is seeking a full-time Esketamine & Ketamine Care Navigator to administer Esketamine and Ketamine treatments as part of our innovative mental health care approach. This role, supervised by Board-Certified Psychiatrists, involves the safe administration of treatments, patient education, and maintaining thorough treatment documentation. The EK Care Navigator will also coordinate patient follow-ups, manage medication inventories, and collaborate closely with medical colleagues. In addition, responsibilities include scheduling treatment sessions, updating referring providers on patient progress, and attending regular clinical meetings.

Job Description:
Applicants must be willing to work full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Benefits:
Pay - $35,000 - $42,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
Administer Esketamine and Ketamine treatments following strict safety protocols, including accurate dosing and close patient monitoring before, during, and after treatment sessions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in the EMR/EHR system, ensuring timely and compliant records.
Clearly explain Esketamine and Ketamine treatment plans to patients, including potential benefits, risks, and aftercare instructions, to support informed decision-making and comfort.
Monitor patients closely for any adverse reactions or side effects, and take immediate action as needed to ensure patient safety.
Ensure compliant storage, tracking, and inventory management of controlled substances, in accordance with DEA, FDA, and clinic protocols.
Administer intramuscular injections using proper aseptic technique and adhere to all clinical safety standards.
Handle and dispose of syringes and medical waste following sharps safety and biohazard disposal protocols.
Cultivate a calm, welcoming environment using strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease throughout treatment.
Communicate any patient concerns, issues, or observations clearly and promptly to management and the clinical team.
Support community outreach or marketing initiatives to help raise awareness about Esketamine and Ketamine treatment options.
Qualifications
2+ years of clinical experience administering treatments or working with psychiatric patients
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required
Proficient in administering intramuscular injections
Experienced in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation
Knowledge of DEA and FDA regulations for handling Esketamine and Ketamine
Trained in medical waste disposal, including sharps protocols
2+ years of experience in marketing or community outreach, preferably in healthcare or mental health
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic data management tools
Preferred Skills
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare-related marketing or community outreach.
Strong ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and clinical team members.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Natural interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, especially in psychiatric care settings.
