Job Description

MELA is adding a Junior Marketing & Sales Associate Team in Long Beach this year. The successful candidate will provide operational and logistics support for all MELA'S marketing and promotional strategies, events, community outreach programs, and direct communication efforts. This person will gain a working knowledge of MELA'S portfolio of marketing and sales offerings with an opportunity to grow within the division and hone their skill set. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized, team player for this position who is eager to gain hands-on experience in this growing, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend promotional events to increase brand awareness, answer enrollment and service questions, and initiate the sales process
• Coordination with Client Services Manager on gathering and tracking metrics for marketing & sales campaigns
• Researching local markets to appeal to a specified target market
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings in preparation for events, promotional activities, and marketing programs
• Gathering materials ahead of events and assisting with the creation of event materials

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, professional email conduct, and ability to communicate comfortably with senior executives
• Strong attention to detail and organization is a must
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once

This position receives a base pay and involves direct, in-person contact with clients and customers.
