BRIEF SUMMARY OF ROLE
This role is responsible for maintaining and growing revenue within your assigned region. The RSM will consistently conduct meaningful appointments within their region to understand a customer’s business and how to offer relevant products or solutions that deliver improved results for the end customer. The RSM will utilize their understanding of the market, to ensure market share growth through cross-selling and other sales techniques. This position is a fast paced, outside sales, customer focused role where success is rewarded.
MAIN FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Understands account base within assigned territory and draft plan to engage available accounts through appropriate sales channels.
· Analyse and document competitive situations to maintain existing business and drive growth to plan.
· Engage in clear communication, teamwork and collaboration both internally and externally
· Continually engage with internal and external partners to improve product knowledge and enhance cross-selling activities.
YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must possess a clear business sense and be able to articulate our strategic advantage.
· Self-starter with the ability to develop/implement strategies in line with the company's business vision.
· Ability to form and develop key business relationships within your customer base.
· Willing to travel 50% or more, with the possibility of overnight trips.
