    A trusts and estates firm in the East Hartford, CT area is seeking an attorney to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 1-3+ years of direct experience in estate planning, probate, and/or trust administration. Candidates must have direct experience in estate planning, probate and/or trust administration to be considered for this opportunity.

    What You'll Handle

    • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and other relevant documents
    • Manage trust and estate administration matters
    • Appear in probate court for hearings and related proceedings
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients,
    • Maintain and manage your own caseload in a busy practice
    • Work closely with partners, attorneys, and staff on complex files
    • Stay informed on changes in estate, probate, fiduciary, and Elder Law
    • Support business development efforts, networking, and firm initiatives
    • Participate in client education or presentations when needed

    Requirements

    • JD from an accredited law school
    • Ability to work fully in-person at the office in the East Hartford, CT area
    • Active Connecticut bar license, in good standing
    • 1–3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
    • Strong research, drafting, and proofreading skills
    • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
    • Polished, client-facing demeanor with solid interpersonal skills
