Rutkowski Law Firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estate Planning Drafting Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality estate planning documents that reflect each client’s unique goals and comply with Michigan law. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of estate planning concepts, excellent drafting skills, and experience working in a fast-paced legal environment. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and team members to ensure every plan is accurate, complete, and ready for implementation. Responsibilities: Draft a variety of estate planning documents, including: • Revocable and irrevocable trusts • Wills • Powers of attorney • HIPAA authorizations • Trust certifications • Real property deeds • Review attorney notes and client intake details to ensure document accuracy and legal intent • Make revisions and updates to documents throughout the planning process • Collaborate with attorneys and funding coordinators to ensure plans are complete and aligned with firm standards • Maintain organized digital files and follow established workflows in a paperless environment • Monitor updates in Michigan estate planning law and adapt documents as needed Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience drafting estate planning documents in a legal setting • Strong knowledge of estate planning terminology, structure, and best practices • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills • Proficient in Microsoft Word and cloud-based legal platforms • Experience with WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, or similar drafting software is a plus • Familiarity with Michigan-specific estate planning and elder law preferred • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple deadlines • Strong communication and collaboration skills Compensation: $50,000
