A specialized law firm based in Temecula, California, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal with the right mix of personality and technical ability to join our team. SIGNING BONUS available for a successful candidate with verified 1+ years’ hands-on experience drafting California estate plans in Wealth Docx. Must start work within 3 weeks of accepting job offer (offer subject to terms of JDS Law’s Signing Bonus Agreement.) Responsibilities: • Draft legal documents, including estate plans using Wealth Docx, pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, and other court documents. • Document organization, review, and management (paper and electronic). • Procedural tasks in California probate courts, including filing and serving pretrial pleadings. • Review discovery documents and prepare discovery responses. • Assist with trust and estate administration tasks, including preparing trust reports and accountings. Qualifications: • BA or BS degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required. • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Paralegal for a California law firm or equivalent environment required. • 1+ year hands-on experience drafting estate planning documents using Wealth Docx highly preferred; scenario-building experience a plus. • Excellent attention to detail focused on accuracy and quality required. • Working knowledge of the California Rules of Court and Code of Civil Procedure. • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 required. • Familiarity with Clio Grow and Clio Manage preferred. Compensation: $52,000 - $62,400 yearly
